JOSE FERNANDEZ Was born in a little town called Benimamet in Valencia, Spain. Ever since he could remember he always loved Bicycles, he would go and see "La Vuelta de Espana" (Tour of Spain) every year and he knew that some day he would be involved somehow with Bicycling. Jose started his adventure with cycling in 1976 as a Sales Manager for a wholesale company in San Diego California. His job consisted of visiting Bicycle Stores throughout the United States and during those visits he saw and realized that there was a great need for fitting people to their bikes. Therefore in 1985 he decided to open a Bicycle Store in San Pedro, California and became one of the Pioneers in Bicycle Fittings. He first went to the New England Cycling Academy, got his certification and embarked in his new career. His business was not only just to sell bicycles but in making sure that the bicycle was a perfect size for the customer, ease their pains and agonies, enhance their riding capabilities/skills and to aide them achieve their riding goals by Customized Bicycle Fittings. In 2001 after fitting over 5,000 customers he sold the store but he is still continuing doing the one thing that he has more love and passion for and that is the Bicycle Fittings.
